Ford UK has confirmed its dealers have received more than 1000 orders for the new Focus RS, despite the rampant hot hatch having only been unveiled at the British motor show two months ago. By way of comparison, Ford UK only sold 2200 previous-generation Focus RS models in two whole years. According to Ford, 40 percent of customers have requested the Electric Green paint (pictured in CAR's exclusive photoshoot above), while Frozen White and Electric Blue have also been popular choices. The Spyker B6 Venator has been revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with Victor Muller hoping it will go in to production in 2014. Now., with the Geneva Motor Show under way, Victor Muller has revealed the Venator and we have more pictures – but little more detail. The Spyker Venator is a mid-engined, two seater sport car with a 3.5 litre V6 producing 375bhp with six-speed auto ‘box and rear wheel drive.
JENSON BUTTON has delivered a damning response to any Formula One driver bemoaning the sport's current lack of noise. The piercing scream of the old 2.4-litre V8 engines has been replaced by the more textural sound of the new 1.6-litre V6 turbo-charged power units, and it has caused a considerable furore. Following the Australian Grand Prix race chairman Ron Walker was left fuming, suggesting he had grounds for a lawsuit as he felt the lack of sound compromised his contract with Bernie Ecclestone.
